Zootopia Theatre Company is part of New York's growing independent theatre movement that is focused on producing new, original, and arresting works that capture life today. 

We believe that art should remove boundaries and reflect the human animal in unexpected ways, thus encouraging audiences to question their personal points-of-view and opening them up to new ideas and perspectives. 

We think that in order for the theatre of today and tomorrow to be culturally vital and socially essential, the artists must be selflessly engaged in serving the story.  We at Zootopia consider ourselves first and foremost storytellers, and we are always searching for new stories and new voices that have the ring of truth. This truth that we seek to represent is real, at times fantastic, and always theatrical.
